Financial Coaching for Individuals and Families All families and Individuals deserve a financial education that supports their wellbeing. At the Lab we recognise that this key learning is not always readily available. We also understand that people can lose confidence and direction over time. With this in mind we have designed the following three programmes to help people build strong financial skills.
Financial Coaching
Financial coaching is not advice. It is something more powerful — a guided process that helps you understand your own relationship with money, identify what is holding you back, and build a clear, practical plan for the future you actually want.
Our coaching is available to anyone at any age or life stage. Whether you are starting out, starting over, or planning what comes next. We work with you, one to one, at your pace, to build your confidence when making financial decisions.
The outcome is not a spreadsheet. It is a shift — in knowledge, in confidence, and in control.
Your financial future begins with one conversation.
Teenage CEO Programme
Over three months, your teenager takes the lead role in managing your family's finances — supported by a dedicated money expert who guides, challenges, and builds their confidence week by week.
Over this time your teenager learns to read a budget, track spending, make financial decisions, and present their thinking to the family. They develop confidence, responsibility, and a working understanding of money that most adults never receive.
The family benefits too. Real conversations happen. Financial habits shift. And a young person discovers they are capable of far more than anyone expected.
By the end, something has changed — not just in what they know about money, but in how they see themselves. Capable. Informed. Ready.
This is not financial education. It is financial experience.
Money Intelligence Programme
Building on empirical evidence we are delighted to now offer our Money Intelligence Programme.
Our Money Intelligence is a four-workshop programme that builds financial skills and addresses the beliefs, biases and anxieties that determine whether those skills get used. The 4-part program incorporates
Money Skills
Money Behaviours
Money Psychology
Money Planning
Every participant completes a validated pre and post assessment measuring financial knowledge, financial self-efficacy, financial anxiety, and financial behaviour. At the end of each programme each participant receives an impact report. The assessment battery draws on the Personal Financial Wellness Scale, the Brief Self-Control Scale, and validated financial literacy measures.
